As you know I recently attended and spoke as part of the Fashion and Beauty panel at the recent Irish Bloggers Conference in Dublin. Whenever I visit Dublin I always try to get some shopping done as I find the shops have a better selection available to everyone. This is my first haul post. Unfortunately there is no video as I am not confident enough to do a haul video just yet! I will also show you some stylish gifts I received for my birthday and one or two little things I bought for myself ;-).
Most of the items I bought for myself have come from Dundrum Town Centre in Dundrum County Dublin for those of you outside of Ireland. I would highly recommend it as it has something for everyone and there is also plenty of places to eat and drink. You can have a fantastic day out with everything just a short stroll away.
Now to the clothes!! First up are these two fantastic items from Pull and Bear. With Khaki being a big trend for spring/summer, I have been on the lookout for a nice pair of khaki chinos. I think I may have found them with these stretch slim chinos. I found them extremely comfortable and the fit is true to size. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for something similar.
Next up is this lightweight Breton stripe Jumper, again it is another fantastic piece for spring summer. Again I found the fit slightly oversized so I went a size smaller than usual. The price of both items didn’t hit my wallet too badly with the chinos priced at €25.99 and the jumper priced at €17.99. Over the weekend I paired the two together and I think they worked really well together.
Next up are these items I purchased in Penneys/Primark. First up is this Mickey Mouse T-Shirt which has an all over print which is a really nice casual and fun piece to add to any wardrobe. I really love the little flecks of colour that are dotted all over the t-shirt. At €10 I think it was a steal and I look forward to using it in future outfits.
The second item was a pair of skinny pink chinos which again I found to be a great addition to any spring/summer wardrobe. The chinos in the link are not the pair I bought but they are very similar and are the same price at €12. Overall two great pieces at a bargain €22. Where can you go wrong! Both items should be available at most Penneys/Primark stores worldwide as there is no online store.
Now to the Birthday items! I was lucky enough to get a very classic piece for a present my fiancé Sandra gave me a Navy Blazer and a Blue and White Houndstooth tie and pocket square set both from Burton Menswear. These are fantastic items, the blazer is true to size and has great texture an essential in any wardrobe. I love the print on the tie and pocket square Im a big fan of houndstooth and to have it in a different colour other than black and white gives me a great new option to accessorize future outfits.
Now we are coming to the end I decided to treat myself to four new pocket squares from Topman and Dunnes Stores. The two from Dunnes Stores are Light blue and pink which will compliment the Navy Blazer that I mentioned earlier. Both are priced at €8 and are available in larger stores nationwide as they are currently not available online. The two pocket squares from Topman are both available online. The first one is a large monochrome dogstooth pocket square and the second one is a plum geometric print pocket square. Both are available for £6/€9.
Well that is the end of my first haul. I hope you enjoyed the items that I bought and received. Let me know what your favourite is!
