I recently attend the #ShineBright Opera Lane winter collections show, this was the closing show for Cork Fashion Week. It was held in the beautiful Perry St market café. I had never been there before, but I had heard great things about it and everything I heard about Perry St was true. It was great to attend an event in my home city of Cork as most events I attend are in Dublin. I also met some of my fellow cloggers (Cork Bloggers) on the night. It was great to meet them all in person as I have engaged with many of them on twitter and facebook.
There was a lovely champagne reception when I arrived in the door. Then we were treated to a variety of meals which all looked delicious! The show began at 7.30 and Emer O’Mahony of lockdown models and the Irish Fashaholic blog was the MC on the night.
There are some fantastic stores which include Topshop/Topman, River Island, Next, New Look, Tommy Hilfiger etc. They are all so close to each other, that it makes it easier to find what you are looking for. There was very much a 70’s vibe with a touch of glamour for the girls and some great tailoring and casual wear for the guys. It was very well presented and Natasha and her team should take a bow!
Here are some of my favourite looks from the night.

Pocket Watch: A gift from my fianceé
