As you guys know already, I am a big fan of tailoring and I am also a big fan of Darren Kennedy. So it is obvious that each season I look forward to his collaborations with well-known Irish tailor Louis Copeland. This is Darren’s fifth collection with Louis and each collection just keeps getting better and better. This season is no different with his signature broad peak lapels, a mix of double and single breasted suits and waistcoats in classic designs.
In each collection designed by Darren, he has named them after something close to him, such as family, friends etc. This season’s collection is named after streets in his beloved Dublin. I love this feature in his collection, as it adds a personal touch to the collection that sets it apart from others that are out there. The collection has a mix of a contemporary silhouette with a hint of old school swag for the modern dapper gent. This collection contains 10 pieces, 8 suits and 2 overcoats. The coats are priced at €699 & €799 respectively. The suits start at €849 for a 2 piece suit and finish at €1,149 for a 3 piece suit. All of these suits use classic patterns so that they won’t date and will stay in your wardrobe for years to come. I love ‘The Henry’ because I am a big fan of blue check suits and this one really appeals to me. It is typical that I would pick the most expensive suit as my favourite.
