I hope you had a nice bank holiday weekend! Im usually showing you guys how to get the look for less on the high street, but don’t we all deserve a bit of luxury every once in a while? Of course we do! I was recently asked by Farfetch, a luxury digital fashion company to share this infographic from a recent editorial piece on their website.
The infographic as you guess is called The Sneaker Shortlist. I was excited to share this as I have always been a fan of sneakers even before I became interested in fashion. The inforgraphic is broken down into five sections. These sections help figure out which kind of sneaker you would buy. Each section in the editorial has choices with the Farfetch teams top choice highlighted with a four other choices similar to this. In this post I am just going to choose my top pick out the five in each section.
Lets start with the fashion addicts choice! These sneakers are for those who loves the creations of the most celebrated brands such as Burberry, Alexander McQueen and so on. My personal favourite from the five were these rainbow bright beautys from Christopher Kane. While all the pairs on show were eye-catching, I felt that they stood out more and would add nice pop of colour to any spring/summer outfit.
Next up is The Sports Champion! This is the section I would normally be drawn to as they are aimed at the sports persons who want to look good while working out. My favourite from this section are these Nike Roshe Flyknits. The Roshe has come in many different shades, designs and price ranges and just keep looking amazing!
Next up is the Gateway shoe! this is the section for those who favour timeless elegance or the classics. I must admit this was my favourite section of the lot. I am a sucker for the classic box fresh white sneaker. So it was easy to choose the Adidas Stan Smiths. As said in the editorial these are the footwear version of the crisp white shirt.
Next up is the collectable section. This is for the conniseurs of the sneaker world who knows what the next must have pair is and when to get it! These guys really know their stuff. My choice from here are these Puma X Alexander McQueen Move-Hi sneakers. I really like the contrasting black panels with the white oval panels at the side. They would add a nice finishing touch to any sports luxe look.
Finally we come to the end.and may I present to you my favourite pair from the S/S15 section. These Raf Simons velcro strap hi tops are so simple but yet so eye catching in their design! They go perfect with some nice tailoring or just strolling around town for a shopping spree.
Well those are my top picks if you want to check out the full editorial piece head on over to http://www.farfetch.com/editorial/the-sneaker-shortlist.aspx?ffref=hd_snav and see the other selections chosen by the Farfetch Team. Hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to leave some feedback!
